Lessons Only Program: For students ages 5 and up, including adults of all ages.
Your regular one on one lesson time is reserved every week. Includes 34 private lessons during the academic year, recital fees for 2 recitals, and all registration fees for the school year.
Summer lessons will be offered on a flexible schedule with packages of 4 or more lessons depending on student and teacher availability.
Students may choose to study either in-person, online only (FaceTime or Zoom), or a combination of online and in-person lessons. Recitals will be held in-person.
Young Artists Program: For students of all levels in grades K-12.
The Young Artists Program is for students and families who wish to pursue violin/viola study at a higher level of commitment and helps to foster confidence and musical achievement.
This program aims to make the type of high level training often only available in intense pre-college conservatory programs accessible in a supportive and collaborative environment to anyone wishing to make violin/viola study an important part of their child’s education.
The program consists of weekly private lessons and a Saturday group class that meets 12 times per semester. The group class will be devoted to mainly technical instruction (scales, exercises, posture work, etc.), along with musical literacy, practice techniques, and small ensemble playing. Classes will be capped at 4-5 students per class so that students will receive individual attention within the group environment.
Classes will be grouped by technical level and adjusted each semester based on enrollment and individual student progress.
All YA classes will be held in-person, but students may choose to do their private lessons online and come in-person for technique classes.
Pay Per Lesson: For those not able or willing to commit to regular long-term study. An option to pay per lesson at a slightly higher hourly rate. Lessons will be scheduled at the mutual convenience of teacher and student. A regular weekly time may be possible, but is not guaranteed. Pay per lesson students are not eligible to participate in the YA program, but may participate in recitals for a $30 recital fee per recital.
